Apple announced that it was issuing a global recall of its line of Beats Pill XL wireless speakers, citing concerns that the speaker’s battery could overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Apple has reported cases of overheating from the speakers, which retail for around $330. In one of those cases, a user burned a finger while another user saw his or her desk burned by the overheating speaker.

Customers returning the speakers can choose between an Apple Store credit of $325 or having that amount directly deposited into their bank account. You can find more details about the recall and the return procedure at Apple’s recall page.
